The Special Technology Zones Authority – STZA held a detailed briefing session with a delegation from Pak Seattle Tech.
Over 20+ leaders from Amazon, Google, Facebook, Redis, Stripe, Educative, Data Science Dojo, Byonyks, Common Room, Inabia Software and Consulting, Cielo, Leverify, Manaky, CrawlNow, EZShifa, and Omnyway Inc joined the session. The briefing session was led by Chairman STZA, Mr. Amer Hashmi where he explained to the participants the progress of the roll-out of Special Technology Zones (STZs) across the country.
STZs will create enormous opportunities for the technology industry, create jobs for the youth, improve human capital development, foster innovation and create and support the technology and knowledge ecosystems in Pakistan. The delegation expressed strong interest in investing and starting operations in STZs and highly appreciated the urgent need for a tech-based knowledge economy and thanked Chairman STZA for taking full ownership of this strategic initiative.
