The Special Technology Zones Authority – STZA conducted a Public Hearing event in accordance with the Pakistan Environmental Protection Act of 1997 and the review of IEE/EIA Regulation of 2000. This event was organized to address the infrastructure development of IslamabadTechnopolis.
Following the procedures outlined by Pak-EPA, all relevant stakeholders, both from the public and private sectors, were extended invitations to voice any concerns they might have regarding the development project. The event was attended by a diverse group of participants, including socialactivists and environmentalists, journalists, academic institutions, trafficpolice, local government representatives, the Ministry of Environment, IESCO, delegates from #construction companies, and residents living in proximity to the project site.
Mr. Hamza Saeed Orakzai, Director Strategic Planning presented STZA mandate and Zones across Pakistan.
Mr. Syed Zeeshan Abbas Jafry, Senior Engineer at National Engineering Services Pakistan (Pvt) Limited (NESPAK) presented the layout plan of Islamabad Technopolis.
