Mr. Azfar Manzoor, Chairman Special Technology Zones Authority – STZA along with Mr. Javaid Iqbal, Member/Chief Commercial Officer at STZA attended inauguration ceremony of the Pakistan Maritime Science & Technology Park (PMSTP) at Bahria University, Karachi on 04 September 2023, Monday. The ceremony was graced by Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi NI(M), SBt, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), who joined as the Chief Guest.
PMSTP is a groundbreaking Science & Technology Park jointly initiated by the Pakistan Navy and Bahria University, and it has been designated as a TechnologyZone by STZA, complete with a ZoneDeveloper (ZD) License. Excitingly, technology companies housed within PMSTP now have the opportunity to apply for ZoneEnterprise (ZE) Licenses from STZA, to avail a range of incentives.
In their addresses, both Chief of the Naval Staff and Vice Admiral (R) Asif Khaliq HI(M), Rector of Bahria University, emphasized the pivotal role of Technology Zones and expressed their gratitude to Chairman STZA for the issuance of the ZD License and the unwavering support provided.
