The Special Technology Zones Authority – STZA delegation led by Chairman STZA, Mr. Azfar Manzoor was invited to visit the Pakistan Air Force Faisal Base Karachi where the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park – Sierra is being constructed.
Air Officer Commanding, AVM Khalid Mehmood arranged a tour of the existing facility, and shared their plans for the development of the NASTP – Sierra. Project Director NASTP – Sierra, Air Commodore (Retd.) Ghayasuddin and Director Technology NAST – Sierra, Group Captain Dr. Shoaib Arif briefed the STZA delegation about the state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities they are developing at NASTP – Sierra. They shed light on the progress they have made so far and stressed upon the importance of a collective effort towards enabling the technology sector.
Chairman STZA appreciated the efforts being made by the NASTP team, and expressed full support for NASTP to facilitate #technology companies operating in the aerospace domain to enable potential economic gains for the country.
