The Chairman of the National Technology Council (NTC), Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani, led a high-level delegation to visit the head office of the Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA). During the visit, the delegation received a detailed briefing on the operations of STZA and held a meeting with STZA’s top leadership, including Chairman Azfar Manzoor and Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Javaid Iqbal.
The discussions between both sides focused on the future of the technology sector in Pakistan, which included topics such as infrastructure, human capital development, rural inclusion, technology curricula, training programs, and creating synergies between academia, industry, and government. As a result of the engagement, the leadership of the NTC and STZA expressed a mutual desire to establish a partnership and collaborate in areas of interest to jointly enable and support the country’s innovation potential.
