The Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) and the National Electronics Complex of Pakistan (NECOP) jointly organized a seminar focused on advanced electronics. Distinguished participants representing the industry, academia, and government sectors converged at the event to delve into critical topics including semiconductor integrated circuit design, advanced printed circuit board (PCB) design, and semiconductor yield and testing technologies.
The seminar provided a platform for attendees to gain insights and exchange ideas on the technological frontiers of advanced electronics. Dr. Sajid Baloch, Director General of NECOP, and Dr. Mohammad Ali Mohammad, Director of Research & Market Intelligence at STZA, along with key industry leaders, addressed the gathering. Notable speakers included Mr. Aftkhar A., CEO of yieldWerx Semiconductor, Mr. Aamir Jamil, CTO at R&D Altanova (Advantest Group), and Mr. Javaid Iqbal, Chief Commercial Officer at STZA.
In addition to the aforementioned speakers, representatives from organizations such as Rapid Silicon, AQL Technologies, DreamBig Semiconductor Inc., 10X Engineering, and the National Institute of Electronics shared their achievements and perspectives on addressing the growth requirements of the advanced electronics industry in Pakistan.
