Special Technology Zones Authority hosted a dinner for the key stakeholders of the tech ecosystem in Karachi. The event was spearheaded by Chairman Amer Hashmi along with Chief Commercial Officer Javaid Iqbal, Chief Information Officer Abdul Rahim and Business Associate Usamah Naveed.
While addressing the guests, Chairman STZA Amer Hashmi highlighted the multiple fiscal, forex and ecosystem incentives offered to Zone Enterprises (ZEs) & Zone Developers (ZDs) in Special Technology Zones. He reiterated the importance of STZA’s licensing regime to supercharge a state-backed tech-driven economy. Chairman also mentioned that collaboration is imperative for the tech-business ecosystem and collective effort in this regard is essential towards building knowledge ecosystems in STZs nation-wide.
There were attendees from multiple facets of the industry, including investors, entrepreneurs, founders, CXOs, CIOs and colleagues with commonality of interests towards the greater passion of uplifting Pakistan.
